About your counselor

Hope can remain, even when life feels unsteady.

I provide compassionate, collaborative individual counseling for children, adolescents, and adults navigating difficult seasons, important transitions, and the work of creating meaningful change.

The flickering light represents each person—and the hope and resilience that can remain even during periods of uncertainty or struggle. My goal is to offer a safe, supportive environment where you can explore what you are experiencing, understand the patterns affecting your life, and develop practical strategies for moving forward.

Experience grounded in real-world care

I completed my licensure supervision through Yellowstone Academy at Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, where I spent several years supporting children and adolescents who struggled with social and emotional regulation, trauma-related concerns, and challenges at school. Using a trauma-informed approach, I helped young people build coping skills, strengthen emotional awareness, and navigate academic, behavioral, and interpersonal concerns.

For more than two years, I have also worked in private practice with adults across the lifespan, helping clients navigate major life transitions, relationship concerns, and marital communication. My background also includes hospital-based work supporting individuals experiencing acute trauma and significant emotional distress.

Across these settings, my approach draws heavily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness. We work together to recognize unhelpful patterns, develop practical coping strategies, improve communication, and create sustainable change.

“None of us are perfect. We are all just flickers of light in the great flame of humanity. Together we light the world.”
